Sketch book Work

 Peeling paint and rust.

 Rusted objects I have brought from home.

I have tested out some different ways of painting rust. Stippling is the best way to create a rusted effect. I have tried to create a few different types of rusty colours.

I am going to create an arch design prototype in ceramics

and place it in a photo of a public place in photoshop.

                                                        

Almost finished pieces ready to put in kilin and then glazed with a rusty type effect.

to look like large sculptural pieces.

I have taken pictures from my home environment and a few objects are standing out to me, in particular one type of object which are wheels. I have sketched different ideas and then i recreated the sketches in photoshop. I havecreated a prototype sculpture piece and i'm planning on testing my designs in ceramics.

Mould and Cast of Objects.

I have gathered a number of objects from the environment which  I am working on in my Movement and Motion project. I have made one large mould of a few of the objects. I then made a cast of the mould. With this cast I can open my options to  testing and creating resin or wax moulds.

This sketch is A1in size. I used the grid system for scaling the image correctly in proportion and size.I first finished the outline and then filled in the sketch using pencil tonal.

Experiment in sculpure

This is my experiment in sculpture.I have combined different shapes together to create one structure. I like the way that hard angular shapes can be slotted into soft spherical shapes. 

Photoshop experiment

I have experimented in photoshop with these images. I increased the hue and the saturation.I then added brush stroke to the image.
